Calling America!

profile/180
One of my first contacts on Facebook was David Inguanzo and his Child's Rights campaign and it occured to me just how widespread the injustice of Family Law , social services , and child welfare is!
Seldom does the child get what they want especially when one parent, more often the mother, alienates the child from the other.

http://www.daveyonefamilylawmanblogspotcom.socialgo.com/groups/

The CPS, child welfare payments (aka CSA) and the whole Family Law industry use each component like a weapon and insatiably thrives on conflict and discord.
I therefore invite you to join us in support of campaigns such as David's as well as Second Class Citizen, Glenn Sacks along with individuals such as the Texas CPS fighter and Donald Tenn and debate our cases our aims and experiences here;

Then go forward together as a stong voice and lobby The President , The First Lady, Secretary of State Clinton, the Law Makers on Capital Hill as well as to State, County and even court level! Enough is enough of this state(s) sponsered abuse of civil liberties and parental responsability in this World4Justice : 2010 and the focal point of our campaign should be here;

Campaign for reform of UK Child Benefit system!

26 May 2010: Category: News Posted by: Admin RFFJ

Following the Queens speech and the re-opening of Parliament, Adrian Sanders Lib-Dem MP has raised a very important Early Day Motion (EDM). The details can be found on the campaign website www.CB42.org where they are seeking support from members of the public to contact their own MP's and ask them to support this motion. With enough interest, this issue would likely get parliamentary time for a debate in the House of Commons and a push for reform.

Why is this important?

As a universal non-means tested benefit Child Benefit (CB) is available to all UK households with dependant children. The nature of the benefit is that it is ultimately intended for the child and not any individual parent or gender. The current payment system only recognises one parent as the primary carer or Parent With Care (PWC), and in an age where parental separation is not uncommon, this leads to bias and discrimination between separating parents roles, regardless of their ongoing involvement in raising their child.

The new Conservative/Lib-Dem Coalition Government has cited Freedom Fairness and Responsibility as it's key objectives, and we feel that reforming Child Benefit is one of the many areas needing change. The Government in it's recent manifesto has pledged the following:

“We will maintain the goal of ending child poverty in the UK by 2020.
We will bring forward plans to reduce the couple penalty in the tax credit system as we make savings from our welfare reform plans.
We will investigate a new approach to helping families with multiple problems.
We will encourage shared parenting from the earliest stages of pregnancy – including the promotion of a system of flexible parental leave.
We will conduct a comprehensive review of family law in order to increase the use of mediation when couples do break up, and to look at how best to provide greater access rights to non-resident parents and grandparents.”
“we have both agreed to sweeping reform of welfare, taxes and, most of all, our schools”

As part of these reforms CB42.org are campaigning for Child Benefit to be realigned to the true nature of 21st Century parenting models, and to ensure that when parents are caring for their own children, they are receiving the benefits due to them in times of need or hardship.

We do not believe that a separated or divorced parent who is supporting his or her own child equally and independently should be any less entitled to Child Benefit as a gateway to other support services as would an intact couple.

Today's system encourages the winner takes all separated parenting model where there is always a Resident Parent and a Non-Resident Parent. One labelled the Parent with Care, and the other as absent.

The Government has pledged to promote Shared Parenting at the earliest outset for couples having children. This is a bold and positive move, however the benefit system for CB, doesn’t recognise Shared Parenting or equal parental status.

There will always be a parent who can claim support and another who must legally pay support (think CSA), even if they both have equal and shared parenting roles.

The enacting of a fair and equitable universal benefit system would ensure that parents understand their joint status and responsibility to care for their own offspring. With encouragement, as we see more couples reaching shared parenting agreements upon separation or divorce, we will need to secure the same equal treatment to state services and benefits without discrimination or bias.

The only fair way to do this responsibly, is to afford both parents the freedom and entitlement of individual support on an equal basis when they need support for their own child during their own shared parental time.

Please visit http://www.cb42.org/ for more information.

Davey says; is it fair the burden should fall thus far on solely the father when so often he is deprived all other aspects of his parental responsability buy the state, unfair legislation and PAS?

I have written to Her Majesty the Queen and.......................!

HM Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland and her Commonwealth Realms has been an important figure of the world for over fifty years, and a letter would be a great way of showing your respect to her whether you live in the United Kingdom or in any other country.

Your Majesty,
May I share the following communiications I have had with the Prime Ministers and Presidents From Britian, the Commonwealth and beyond?

Dear Prime Minister

http://www.number10.gov.uk/footer/contact-us
I am delighted that our new coalition Government are going to review family Law in this country as reform is long over due. May I suggest a leveling of the playing field and the assumption that Mother knows best (as recent news stories have proved is not always to be the case) is replaced with where you have 2 caring parents an equal consideration is given to the role both can play which extends beyond sperm donor to ATM machine for the father. Parental Alienation should be outlawed, social services should not be part of the initial process (they should be caring for children at risk, not those from 2 loving parents) If the true best interests of the children are to be considered (not the hypocrisy displayed in family court at the moment) then their wishes should be served and in most cases that means both parents can still contribute to their lives in spite of separation. You have a fabulous opportunity to make this happen NOW with the Ministers you have already appointed and additional members with a knowledge of this subject including; John Hemming M.P. Henry Bellingham M.P. and Lynne Featherstone M.P. please do not waste the valuable experience they have, and who in turn can fix our "Broken Society!"

Dear Prime Minister, http://www.pm.gov.au/PM_Connect/contact_your_pm_form
I wonder if you are aware that at the time of sending this message 10908 Australian citizens have committed suicide as a result of the trauma they have suffered at the hands of the CSA, social services and other family law agencies since November 2007. You were concerned earlier this year about coastal erosion blighting many Australian lives, please can I appeal to you to stop the erosion occurring in your society and seek to reform your Family Law System, TODAY?

Dear Prime Minister,

http://www.pm.gc.ca/eng/pm.asp?featureId=7
Family Law injustice is a global problem but my findings point to this being at it's worst in Canada!
I would therefore wish to appeal to you personally for an urgent review of the status that blights so many lives and wrecks societies through out our countries. Fathers need to be given equal status when it comes to parental responsibilities rather then simply a source of revenue. The CPS need to do what it says on the label and all social services should give support to children and families in spite of separation rather then exacerbating the alienation between children and loving parents most often the father.
Please accept this heartfelt plea in good faith and seek to make this a top priority in your domestic political agenda.

Dear Prime Minister
http://www.johnkey.co.nz/pages/connect.html
I wish to appeal to you in all good faith and ask for a major review and overhaul of the Family Law system in New Zealand, some thing that blights your beautiful country.
Children are being deprived the care and attention of both parents after separation, when more often then not it need not be the case , the CSA puts undue pressures on solely the father yet he is not being given the opportunity to offer moral or practical support. The social services often fail to recognise what is in the true best interest of the children they supposed to serve!
I implore you to take action with the utmost urgency to resolve this issue and mend your broken societies!

Dear Mr. President http://www.whitehouse.gov/thank-you
I sincerely wish to bring your attention to a matter I consider of the utmost urgency in the USA as well as much of the world;
Family Law injustice!

Societies are being broken by the failure to achieve balanced a reasonable judgements in the wake of parents separation often resulting in one parent (most often the father) being alienated from their children. Parental Alienation should be outlawed and the agencies involved actively seeking to support children from all walks of life to have a meaningful and rewarding experience with both parents in spite of divorce. As I say this affects all children but those from underprivileged backgrounds become the most vulnerable and child welfare in the form of the CPS fall way short of the care and they deserve and why are the services so hell bent on alienating a father who cares for his children yet persecutes him for financial support when he has so much more to offer in the form of moral and stabilising reassurance needed in the short span of time that is childhood!
It should also be noted that the coralation between suicides as with Australia, and those returning from active service, then facing the trauma of Family Courts in the USA shows a marked increase in recent years!
I was touched when The First Lady invited 12 London school children to the Whitehouse a few months ago and indeed from here in the UK your election as President offered a sign of New Hope this was replicated elsewhere in the world, so please offer that New Hope this year to the kids!!

With my utmost respect to your goodself and the First Lady.

Your Excellency
http://www.presidency.gr/en/contact.htm
I have great sympathy with the plight of your country and the economic turmoil you face at this time. I would however appeal to you to also consider the Family Law system that exists in Greece today and ask for you to undertake a robust reform of shared parenting and put an emphasis on your social services for children to have access to both parents in the event of a separation this will prove to be a great benefit in the future of your society as a whole. I would also hope one of your greatest assets , your tourist industry plays a key part in restoring your wonderful country to it's former glory.

Dear Mr President,
Website:www.thepresidency.gov.za
http://mce_host/my_profile/blog/-1/E-mail:president@po.gov.za
You may be interested to know that F4J S.A. at one time offered the Government in Pretoria guidance on human rights issues most especially relating to Family Law issues and I would appeal to you in good faith to take heed and ask for an urgent review of matters relating to Family Court , social services and child welfare, in this year of World Cup prestige : 2010 for South Africa!

Dear Mr. President
href="http://www.bing.com/reference/semhtml/Sellapan_Ramanathan?qpvt=Sellapan%20Ramanathan&q=Sellapan%20Ramanathan

I have been alerted by a friend in Singapore that the Family Court laws are particular discriminatory to Fathers and as a result he is to be separated from his young son for the next 6 months, As a loyal law abiding citizen of Singapore and devoted father to his young so please may I appeal to you with the greatest of respect to review the case involving my friend even if it means limited or supervised visitation to start but I am sure you will agree it is vital that the contact is not lost between father and son at the crucial age his young child is today. Please accept my heartfelt appeal to reunite this family and others in a similar situation that could have such a bearing upon your society in the future.

(One day perhaps Parental Alienation will be outlawed as child abuse in Singapore)

Sir,http://ukinsingapore.fco.gov.uk/en/I am of the belief my friend Wee Cheng has been served a grave injustice in being seperated from his son, is there anyway we in Britain or beyond can offer him our support or offer influence to his case?http://www.daveyonefamilylawmanblogspotcom.socialgo.com/forum/topic/148/page/1#215I would value your view on how this matter may be pursed such as a petition to the Government or Justice Minister?________________________________________________Your Majesties Christmas message spoke of Commonwealth, Children and Multi-Faith societies and I would wish to appeal as your loyal and obedient servant that where Your Majesty is able to do so, please exercise influence on this subject for the sake of the children involved and societies as a whole. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/liberaldemocrats/7753762/The-Queens-Speech-Bill-by-Bill.html

Change is coming be part of it!

14 May 2010: New Government? Same campaign for change!
Category: News
Posted by: Toon

Since our formation in 2005 we have been responsible for many headline grabbing media stunts, we are made up of former coordinators and the top activists from the F4j movement mark I (circa 2002-2005), the reasons we broke away are covered in this BBC documentary from 2006 Davey says; Radio 4 Law in Action is researching for a programme on Family Law and in paricular CAFCASS and social services share your experiences here; www.lucy.proctor@bbc.co.uk

It is about time the BBC did a robust report on our cause!!
Real Fathers offer free professional help and support to anyone facing injustice in family law, we are an open and accountable civil rights campaign group, not a trademarked Limited company, and we welcome new members and supporters to get actively involved.

With notable campaigners being conspicuous by their absence until March 2010, an alliance of family law reformers, including Rffj coordinators, have been meeting with Conservative MPs Henry Bellingham, Michael Gove and their respective teams for around 3 years to discuss much needed changes in family law should they take office.

Meanwhile in Northern Ireland, key members have been conducting talks with politicians and stakeholder groups responsible for policy change (full report to follow)

We will wait and see if the changes promised to us come into effect, but we must keep the pressure on and tell our MPs that family law is not working.

Rffj say there is no monopoly or copyright on family law protests, to achieve our goals we must all network together respectfully and peacefully, despite any differences.

Rffj will concentrate efforts on continuing the campaign to change family law, we are here to stay, not a revolving door group that disappoints members by reopening and closing down every time the going gets tough, Rffj won’t make legal threats to sue and attempt to destroy the work of those who are campaigning for the same.

Campaigners must put aside their egos and work as one to ensure the much needed reforms are implemented; support any group you like but we must take a united message to the politicians that the best parent is BOTH parents.

With the spirit of cooperation in mind, we ask members and supporters to attend a protest being organised by New fathers for justice, Saturday, 24 July 2010 Carry on camping >Click here< for more details

If you want to get involved with the Rffj campaign email: info@realfathersforjustice.org

20 May 2010: Cameron/Clegg pledge to review family law – Rffj comment

From the Government document published online today
..but having been let down so often before will they let us down again?
I say lobby them into submission and lobby your MP at least weekly till they do get it right!http://www.blogger.com/www.writetothem.com/

Rffj welcome the review of family law as pledged by the new coalition government The document states: We will encourage shared parenting from the earliest stages of pregnancy – including the promotion of a system of flexible parental leave. We will put funding for relationship support on a stable, long-term footing, and make sure that couples are given greater encouragement to use existing relationship support. We will conduct a comprehensive review of family law in order to increase the use of mediation when couples do break up, and to look at how best to provide greater access rights to non-resident parents and grandparents.

Rffj spokesman Mike Kelly said:
“This document is definitely a step in the right direct, after 5 years of Rffj protest and 3 years of talking to opposition MPs, it’s pleasing to see they have listened to the talks and have looked at the reasons behind the protests”

“The campaign is far from over yet, we must continue to push for a legal presumption of Shared Parenting”

“There is a long way to go before parents have a level playing field when they divorce or separate, the government must remove the ‘winner takes all’ system where false allegations are taken as fact and where contact orders are ignored with impunity”

“The system is beset by delay, incompetence and mismanagement, costs can spiral and support is non existent”

So as I have suggested before “Tell him about it” on his shiney new website;
http://www.number10.gov.uk/footer/contact-us
“Family law judges and professionals should be held to account for their mistakes, proceedings must be open and judgements transparent”
“Until the scales of justice are truly working equitably and openly, then expect to see more action from us”

To get involved with Rffj email info@realfathersforjustice.org

For help and support on your case email ray@realfathersforjustice.org

I am grateful to Toon at RFFJ for the heads up on this one! Davey

Coronation Street and Family Law !

As someone who has watched Coronation Street since the early 60's I can say overall their story lines are the most credible and today cover aspects of Family Law , possibly a little more subtly then I might like, but the only soap to do so!

You may wonder would a mother who is a convicted murderer be able to pursue a claim for custordy for her child even though the child is being cared for by the childs father and new wife? There are cases in the real world where drug dealing mothers are indeed given care of their children when a perfecly good father is on hand to take on the role and responsability! Are Social Services really qualified to judge who is a suitable parent even to foster or adopt when so often it is the same department that is seperating children from their loving Dads (mostly) but less often their mothers, and I have the ironic situation of having my own children withheld by the mother but the local council often send me mailshots on adopting or fostering??
Grandparents have no legal course of redress if they lose contact with their grandchildren, except in extenuating circumstances or money and very rare, just ask Radio Presenter James Whale who devoted a whole chapter to his book and the pain he went through when his son was alienated from his child and as a double whammy at a time James was diagnosed with Cancer!

T.V presenter Gloria Hunniford also campaigns for more involvement of grandparents when parents are having problems as opposed to the involvement of Social Services and something I endorce fully. Perhaps it is the parents that need to be taken to one side , into care if you like rather then the kids , whilst they learn the basics of parental responsability!

Fathers are being seperated
from their children on every Street in the land and around the world, it is called;

Parental Alienation Syndrome!

This can be inflicted by an vengeful mother, but is condoned by the Family Law system, and supported by the erronious mother's extended family who in the eyes of the law are 'civil' whilst the law cannot deal with a caring fathers so seek to 'criminalise' them!

Society could not give a 4X for the father but for the sake of the children and society as a whole there has to be the recognition the reform is long overdue and has to be reformed NOW! Davey

Our new Justice Minister?

Contrary to my earlier comment, I have been given the heads up (thanks Haahoo) that this could be our future Justice Minister Henry Bellingham and the man to watch in the coming Parliament!

http://www.lynnnews.co.uk/news/ELECTION-RESULTS.6277676.jp

"In the best interest of the children!"

As a parent this is the natural instinct of taking on the caring role for your own children, not the destructive hypocracy perveyed by Family Court!

http://www.guardian.co.uk/law/2010/may/14/access-court-derek-paravicini
I often wonder why celebrities are allowed to publicise their marital separations and in the case of Katie & Pete make millions from magazine deals in the process?

Jack Straws 'Open Court' policy fell like a damp squib a year ago when the judges objected saying it would compromise child safety and give the court additional administration, and whilst my heart bleeds I have to ask how come the criminal courts can cope and describe sensitive cases as Child 'A' Child 'B' or Family 'XYZ'.

What have they to hide or more over what financial incentives exist to keep this corruption reigning supreme in court?

Fine Bed Fellows.......?

Dear Mr Cameron,
If we do have to endure a hung parliament in the coming months or years can we at least make the most of it?
Lord Tebbit should be made Justice Minister in the wake of Jack Straw and Lord Falconers in actions!
Vince Cable could prove useful at the treasury and possibly the best chancellor we could have.
John Hemming should take over where Ed Balls fell down, and is the most knowlageble parliamentarian on matters of Children, Schools and Families!
Lynne Featherstone has her share of knowlage where social services fail so I would like to nominate her to take over at the DWP in the place of Yvette Cooper!

Kind regards
